THE JOURNEY SO FAR….

 

HRRA Inc. was established some 17 years ago by a small group of parents with high support needs children.  Several of those parents still remain on the Board of Management.

 

We have come a long way since our very small beginning and today provide support services to over 50 individuals with a huge range of varying abilities.

 

We are an accredited provided (3.01) Learning & Life Skills and currently employ 20+ staff.

 

 

The Committee

 

Horizons Respite & Recreation Association Inc is a Not For Profit entity.  Meetings are held monthly and the Committee is governed by the adopted constitution, relevant legislation and rulings of The Office of Fair Trading.  The Committee is made up of professionals, parents and volunteers who strongly believe in the service Horizons provides.

Our staff

 

Our staff is made up of 32 people each with varying qualifications, abilities and talents.  We work collaboratively to achieve our strategic objective of delivering a 'QUALITY' service to our guys and providing support their families and carers.

At present we have over 50 "guys", all with unique talents and abilities of their own.   Each day we welcome them into their centre as we strongly believe this centre is for their enjoyment.  Friendships are formed, laughs are had and memories are made.
